Look Good, Feel Better is a free program that helps women who have cancer cope with some of the physical changes in appearance that are associated with cancer treatment. Certified cosmetologists provide instruction in makeup, choosing and caring for a wig and expert advice on using scarves and turbans. All participants receive their own bag of new make-up supplies.
Look Good, Feel Better is sponsored by Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, the American Cancer Society, the National Cosmetology Association and the Personal Care Products Council Foundation.
